In the fall of 2008 Oscar Nominee Joaquin Phoenix (Walk the Line, Signs) shocked his fans with the news that he was quitting acting and pursuing a career in the music industry as a rap artist. Brother-in-law Casey Affleck (American Pie, Gone Baby Gone) documented this bizarre transition as he followed Joaquin Phoenix on his wild and often hilarious journey to be a rapper. Including his wacky appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman which caused some major controversy on whether the Hollywood star had fallen off the edge.
