"Jukebox" is the eagerly anticipated third studio album by the British pop sensation boy band JLS, who were runner ups in the 2008 series of the reality television talent show The X Factor. This record is their third in three years, and is the follow up to their smash hit second album "Outta This World", which was released in 2010.
The album is an explosive pop and RandB themed masterpiece, with JLS staying true to their roots by sticking to classic dance and pop songs, the very template which brought them such fame and success with their début. This album is, however, a more maturely written record, showing that they are happily settling in to the niche they have carved out for themselves in the music industry. This band amply display their incredible vocal ranges and abilities that got them so far in The X Factor to begin with, showing off their perfect harmonies and clean cut singing styles.
This release features the number one smash hit lead single "She Makes Me Wanna", featuring the innovative American singer Dev. The song is a massive blast of excitement and pure dance beat fuelled energy, with one of the catchiest choruses ever heard before. Also included on this album is their second single "Take A Chance On Me", a soulful and emotive ballad-styled song, with heartfelt written lyrics and a brilliant drum beat giving the song that distinctive JLS sound.
With the band never slowing down and never tiring, this album is set to be yet another chart smasher and crowd pleaser. (Cat Emerson)
