Dracula is the first in the series of Hammer films inspired by the Bram Stoker novel Dracula. It was directed by Terence Fisher, and stars Peter Cushing, Michael Gough, Carol Marsh, Melissa Stribling and Christopher Lee. Dr. Van Helsing, investigating the death of his friend Jonathan Harker concludes that Harker was the victim of a vampire.
When Harker's fiance, Lucy, becomes affected by the terrifying force and hypnotic power of Count Dracula, Van Helsing releases her tortured soul by driving a stake through her heart. But Dracula seeks revenge, targeting Lucy's beautiful sister-in-law, Mina. Van Helsing, now aided by Mina's husband Arthur, swears to exorcise this evil forever by confronting the vile and depraved Count himself.

Un clásico imprescindible
La película "Dracula" de Hammer Studios es un clásico del cine de terror y del cine en general, con unas interpretaciones inolvidables, siendo la de Christopher Lee como Dracula sencillamente magistral. Ésta fue la primera de una larga lista de películas de vampiros producidas por Hammer. Christopher Lee volvería al papel años más tarde hasta en cinco películas más. Esta edición tiene de especial que es una edición restaurada con escenas censuradas en su día y que ha sido milagroso y trabajoso encontrar. El resultado es impecable, con la edición más larga conocida hasta la fecha, aunque apenas llegue a los 80 minutos, pero muy bien utilizados. Este pack contiene tres discos, uno es el Blu-Ray y los otros dos son dos DVD, uno contiene la película en dos versiones restauradas (2007 y 2012), en versión original con subtítulos optativos en inglés, y el segundo DVD contiene extras el documental del cómo se hizo la película original, otro documental sobre vampiros en la productora Hammer, otro sobre el proceso de restauración de las películas, y algún extra más, como por ejemplo un libreto en formato pdf en el que se detallan aspectos del filme. Magnífica edición e imprescindible película. Terror clásico y señorío en la interpretación. Más que recomendable.
